Yes the hideous white stuff has finally lost it’s grip from our beloved training-ground. It is time to open your closet, put on your favorite pair of shorts and start polishing your shoes.
We train Mondays and Wednesdays from 18:30 at the “University Back Field“. If your intrested in playing with us come down or send us an e-mail.
You can find a proper road description under “maps” and if you walk from the subway look for a tall freaky guy with german accent who can’t kick!

YES YES YES !! Not long now until season 2010 finally starts! The mighty Axemen are waking up from their “Swedish-Winter-Hibernation” and will soon start training again. For those that care, some changes have been made to the board.

Söder Win Their First SAFF Flag
Saturday September 19th was a big day for Aussie Rules in Sweden.

While the Vikings had plenty of chances to hand the Blues back-to-back Grand Final losses, their wayward kicking proved too costly in the end, with Jordo’s boys running out winners 9.9.63 to 6.20.56.

Solna Axemen defeated the previously undefeated Södermalm Blues, leaving the field 77 point winners and sending out a message to their opponents that the dual premiership team is back in town and eyeing in September finals action. The decisive outcome also showed that Solna are the “real deal” and that their Falun VB Cup Victory a couple of months ago was no fluke.

It was now or never for the Solna Axemen. Winless in Season 2009, this was a must win encounter with the Bromma Vikings. The game was played in Bromma but you wouldn’t have guessed it with Solna Supporters outnumbering the Bromma supporters by 3:1 (literally).

A perfect Friday night at Årsta. The Swans for the first time in their short time of involvement in SAFF managed to field 3 non-Aussie players and Solna- the reigning two time premiers desperate to record their first win of Season 2009.
